SS410 - Martensitic Stainless Steels

Product Description:

SS410 is a martensitic stainless steel with high mechanical strength, moderate corrosion resistance, and excellent hardenability. It contains 12% chromium, giving it a protective oxide film that provides basic corrosion resistance in mild atmospheres, water, and some chemicals.

This grade is magnetic, can be hardened through heat treatment, and offers good wear resistance—making it ideal for highly stressed parts and applications that require both mechanical strength and moderate corrosion resistance.
