SS 431 – Martensitic Stainless Steel

Product Description:

SS 431 is a high chromium martensitic stainless steel designed to provide excellent mechanical properties, including high strength, corrosion resistance, and good fatigue resistance. With approximately 16% chromium, it offers excellent resistance to oxidation and a wide range of corrosive environments, including water and mild chemicals.

SS 431 is hardenable by heat treatment and is magnetic, making it suitable for high-strength applications that also require resistance to corrosion.
